{Piece of the Puzzle}

Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know we have the desire to adopt; most recently we have decided to adopt a child from Ethiopia. We will be going through the adoption agency, Celebrate Children International. A couple of weeks ago, we met a wonderful couple with 3 adorable children, all adopted from Ethiopia.  We immediately knew then that God was calling us to adopt an orphan as well.

Once we have all the paperwork in, we could have a child in 6 to 9 months from Ethiopia. That means we need everyone’s assistance in raising $29,000 in the next few months. We appreciate all of the emotional support, love and prayers given to us by our friends and family during this journey.

For that reason it just seems fitting to begin our fundraising with a puzzle that will be put together with love by our family and friends. Of course, this will help with the financial side of bringing our children home but the symbolism is even better. We have purchased this African themed puzzle.

This is a 1,000 piece puzzle. We are inviting you to "sponsor" a piece (or more if you choose) of this puzzle for the suggested donation of $12 and take part in bringing our precious child home. With each piece sponsored we'll write your name on the back and put that piece of the puzzle in place. ...A permanent reminder of the part you played in bringing our child home....Something for him (most likely we will be getting a boy) to look at and see just how loved he is... But more importantly to see God's perfect plan for his precious life. ALL of these funds raised (our goal with this one puzzle is to raise at least $12,000) will be used for our adoption expenses, which will total over $29,000. We are so excited about the visual of putting each piece in place as we get closer and closer to bringing our child home.

Once the puzzle is complete we plan to have it framed in double sided glass so we can always see both sides of the puzzle and each of your names. Your partnership in helping to bring him home blesses us more than words could ever say.
